The Cheviot Hills Challenge is a Mountain Bike race held in the Cheviot Hills reserve.
The event seeks to cater for all levels of skill and experience. Each lap measures 6km.
The 6km course runs through century old oak and eucalyptus trees, to plantations of ash, pine and natives. The first section of the course comprises undulating 4wd and single track weaving through the Reserve and adjacent to the Jed River.
The Cheviot Hills Ride crosses private land, the Lions would like to thank Peter and Ange Montgomery for allowing access – please stay on the sign posted track.
